Giving Back
What a privilege it is to grow up with Western and European standards, I only really realised in my late twenties, when I repeatedly came into contact with poorer countries and cultures.
Nobody chose to be born in a developing country, it's just fate that decided where on the world map our life's journey should start. But this start points the way for education, standard of living, our future, security and much more.
I firmly believe that it is our responsibility to reach out to the less fortunate and help where we can. In addition, I have learned through various donation projects in recent years (in which I have collected over $25,000 and built a school in Vietnam, among other things) how the heart fills when you give selflessly.
For every sold product at Hope The Studio we donate $1 to the Earth Child Project.
"Earthchild Project is a Non-Profit Organisation operating in disadvantaged schools in Cape Town, South Africa. Working with children and teachers our educational programmes focus on the environment, health and life-skills. We teach practical skills such as yoga, mindfulness & organic gardening to over 3500 children and 300 teachers."
At the end of every financial year we will be donating $1 per sold product and give you an update about the provided support here and on our social media channels.
